A Midpoint Chord Through a Fixed Point

Problem

Let A,B,C,DA,B,C,D be four points on the ellipse x2a2+y2b2=1\dfrac{x^2}{a^2}+\dfrac{y^2}{b^2}=1, with the lines ABAB and CDCD meeting at a fixed point P(x0,y0)P(x_0,y_0). Let MM, NN be the midpoints of ABAB, CDCD, and let k1k_1, k2k_2 be the slopes of ABAB, CDCD. Suppose there are constants α,β,γ\alpha,\beta,\gamma with

αk1k2+β(k1+k2)+γ=0.\alpha k_1k_2+\beta(k_1+k_2)+\gamma=0.

Prove that the line MNMN passes through a fixed point.
