1. Prove that

43S2n13Sn<π<83S2n2Sn+13Sn/2.\frac{4}{3}S_{2n} - \frac{1}{3}S_n < \pi < \frac{8}{3}S_{2n} - 2S_n + \frac{1}{3}S_{n/2}.
  1. Given 1.732<3<1.7331.732 < \sqrt{3} < 1.733 and 3.105<S24<3.1063.105 < S_{24} < 3.106, prove that 3.14<π<3.153.14 < \pi < 3.15.
