A Functional Sum Identity

Problem

A sequence {an}\{a_n\} of positive terms has partial sums SnS_n, and for all m,n∈N∗m, n \in \mathbb{N}^*,

(Sm+n+S1)2=4 a2m a2n.\left(S_{m+n} + S_1\right)^2 = 4\,a_{2m}\,a_{2n}.

1. Find a2a1\dfrac{a_2}{a_1}. 2. Prove that {an}\{a_n\} is geometric. 3. Sequences {cn},{dn}\{c_n\}, \{d_n\} satisfy ∣cn∣=∣dn∣=an|c_n| = |d_n| = a_n. For a given integer p≥3p \ge 3, their pp-th partial sums Tp,RpT_p, R_p are equal. Prove that ck=dkc_k = d_k for every 1≤k≤p1 \le k \le p.
