An Angle Bisector Intercept

Problem

Let PP be a point of the ellipse x2a2+y2b2=1\dfrac{x^2}{a^2} + \dfrac{y^2}{b^2} = 1 (with a>b>0a > b > 0) in the first quadrant, and F1,F2F_1, F_2 the left and right foci. The bisector of F1PF2\angle F_1PF_2 meets the yy-axis at a point with yy-coordinate tt. Find the range of possible values of tt, in terms of aa and bb.
