Counting Divisors

Problem

For n∈N∗n \in \mathbb{N}^*, let f(n)f(n) be the number of positive divisors of nn; for example f(1)=1f(1) = 1 and f(4)=3f(4) = 3. Determine, with proof, which of the following are true:

1. f(6)=4f(6) = 4; 2. f(2025)=20f(2025) = 20; 3. ∑k=120251f(6k)<1\displaystyle\sum_{k=1}^{2025} \frac{1}{f(6^k)} < 1; 4. with bn=(2)nb_n = (\sqrt{2})^n,

∑k=12025(−1)f(k+1)b2k−1b2k⩽5216.\sum_{k=1}^{2025} \frac{(-1)^{f(k+1)}}{b_{2k-1} b_{2k}} \leqslant \frac{5\sqrt{2}}{16}.
