Opposite Slopes Through a Focus

Problem

The ellipse x24+y23=1\dfrac{x^2}{4} + \dfrac{y^2}{3} = 1 has foci F1F_1 (left) and F2F_2 (right). A line ll with nonzero slope meets the ellipse at AA and BB (AA to the left of BB), and the slopes of F1AF_1A and F1BF_1B are negatives of each other.

1. Prove that the line ll passes through a fixed point. 2. Let MM be the intersection of lines F1BF_1B and F2AF_2A. Prove that ∣MF2∣−∣MF1∣|MF_2| - |MF_1| is constant.
