A Geometric Triple of Lengths

Problem

Consider the ellipse x2a2+y2b2=1\dfrac{x^2}{a^2} + \dfrac{y^2}{b^2} = 1 and its left vertex A(−a,0)A(-a, 0). A line ll through AA meets the ellipse again at QQ and meets the yy-axis at RR; the line through the origin parallel to ll meets the ellipse at PP. Prove that AQAQ, 2 OP\sqrt{2}\,OP, ARAR form a geometric sequence.
