An nn-Fold Shrinking Function

Problem

Let f(x)f(x) have domain DD. If there exists [a,b]⊆D[a, b] \subseteq D such that the minimum of f(x)f(x) on [a,b][a, b] is an\dfrac{a}{n} and the maximum is bn\dfrac{b}{n}, where nn is a positive integer, then f(x)f(x) is called an nn-fold shrinking function. If

f(x)=log⁡4(2x+t)f(x) = \log_4\left(2^x + t\right)

is a 44-fold shrinking function, find the range of possible values of the real number tt.
